Content Design Leader
We all have a story to tell.
Every person on this earth has a captivating tale within them. We should all be sharing and telling the stories of our work and our lives to create a more empathetic world.
Yet crafting content that is useful, usable, and is actually enjoyable is an art and science. Creating engaging content requires research, strategy, iteration, critique, measurement, and time-tested expertise. It also takes a level of intuition, improv, and openness to change.

I’m a content design leader and strategist—a UX designer focused on the meaning and message in experiences, and where that gets published and why.
Content designers are UX designers focused on meaning. We architect the stories in experiences, which could be digital or analog. Content isn’t bound to one medium. It’s core to everything—from time-based media like videos or podcasts, to products, to web sites, to physical experiences like books or events. But mostly in this day and age, we focus on product experiences. Content design requires expertise in design and design thinking—many of the same steps as good ol’ fashioned design, with many rounds of iteration and reinvention. It requires contextualizing information into a story and thinking strategically so that there is consistency across a system or systems. Storytelling is our language.
This one’s for mom so she knows what I do for a living.
